The Nexus One is a smartphonexus onene that uses Google’s open source Android mobile operating system. The Google Nexus One is the most anticipated Android phone ever, for both good and completely irrational reasons.  The Google Nexus one feels like a solid phone because the surface on the back does not feel slippery and very soft, warm and not prone to fingerprints at all. After all, the design is very nice and quite minimalist, and perhaps most people will find it pleasing to look at and to hold.

The Nexus One was originally codenamed the HTC Passion. A European phone with the same hardware has been documented, called the HTC Bravo (now HTC Desire), which corresponds to the specifications of Nexus One. However, the Bravo features HTC Sense and an optical trackpad rather than a trackball, physical buttons rather than the touch sensitive buttons, FM radio and lacks the noise canceling dual microphones in the Nexus One.

The Phone comes with a very fast processor that hits the magical 1Ghz clock speed and with an AMOLED high-resolution display. It is also equipped with the latest Android operating system from Google that packs things like voice-to-text and the best GMail client out there. The irrational part is that the hype is totally exaggerated. The Nexus One is clearly superior to the iPhone 3GS some technical points, namely, as the processor and screen.

Unfortunately for Android fans, we can not say that Nexus one buries the iPhone 3GS because the 3GS still has an advantage in terms of applications, reactivity and the overall experience – while the Nexus One has a technological edge and is an unlocked phone that works on any GSM carrier.
